PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Transportation & Logistics domain is one of the biggest investment areas for companies that are optimizing their supply chain processes to reduce costs and increase customer services levels.

SAP is the leading provider of Transportation management solution as per ARC.

SAP is investing in building Logistics Business Network solution in cloud to serve the high demand in the market and capture leadership position in this area.

The Logistics Business Network team is looking for highly motivated individuals to develop best in class cloud software solutions for this market.

Desired profile

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

·  The developer is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for developing Cloud Applications in Java on HCP.
·  Should be able work independently on the Implementation and Test activity
·  Passion to quickly learn new technical concepts, components and tools
·  Good understanding of various testing framework in Java
·  Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to interact with teams and architects in other geographical locations

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

·  2 plus years of experience in Java programming especially Java Spring Framework
·  Strong software development skills in Java and Java Spring Framework

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  BE/MCA or similar
·  HCP: Cloud Foundry, HCP Cockpit operations
·  JPA, JDBC, CDS Data binding concepts
·  REST concept, Web IDE, OData concepts
·  Multi-tenancy concepts, logging tracing trouble shooting, Cloud Connector
·  HANA basics – In memory, Calculation View
·  Java: Spring framework
·  Git , Maven
·  Proficient in Eclipse Operations

 

Preferred skills:

·  JavaScript, Rest based architecture
·  Java Spring Framework, SAP UI5
