This jobs is a part of SAP’s Intern Experience Program (iXp). Within iXp we focus on providing a best-in-class intern experience and assigning impactful projects in strategic areas of SAP’s business. iXp interns are inquisitive, capable and eager individuals, fueling the next generation of SAP.

 

Objective:

The Network Value Organization is a multi-discipline team that includes Value Engineering and Subject Matter Expertise critical to Source-to-Settlement processes.  The VE members collaborate with the Sales Teams to assess customer opportunities and build valid Business Case for presentment to decision-making Customer Executives.  There are experts in Financials, Discount Management, Settlement and Supply Chain Finance as well as a group of Subject matter Experts that understand Supply Chain, Direct Materials Sourcing and all aspects of digitizing the Mfg, MRO and Supply Chain Process.

This team is considered to be the expertise that accompanies the investment into SAP Ariba solutions. The roles are customer facing in a non-sales and analytical capacity but considered knowledge owners.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

·  Demand Generation- using data to identify similarities by Industry and Solutions to suggest other potential organizations that Sales can pursue.
·  Coordination and execution of marketing events for customers in the field –involves the Sales teams and marketing owners as well as external customers.
·  CoE (Center of Excellence) projects around productivity and tools – rolling out recently developed applications and insuring they become adopted by outlining benefits and reinforcing use.

 

Education and Qualifications:

·  Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or  non-MBA masters degree program focusing on Sales, Marketing, Finance or Supply Chain discipline.
·  Any candidate who has studied organizational leadership might have a higher level of interest or application.
·  Anyone who has interned previously in a Sales Support or Marketing role and has experience with generating ideas of how customers buy or are successful.
·  Analytical, statistical, and presentation skills
·  Must be able to work onsite in Palo Alto, CA during summer 2017
