PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP Data Business is an Executive Board-initiated startup unit with the vision of creating the world’s most trusted and most relevant end-to-end platform for actionable enterprise data services. We combine data engineering excellence with thought leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. We are looking for a talented full-stack engineer to join us with a focus on building the cloud-scale web applications leveraging the unique and incomparable big data in SAP. YOUR ROLE

·  As a front-end developer, you will be responsible to design and implement the phenomenal web applications and platforms
·  You will work closely with Product Management and UX Designer to enhance the user experience
·  You will write unit tests and participate in functional, integration, and regression testing when needed
·  You will conduct or participate in design and code reviews
·  You will contribute to multiple projects in different phases, ranging from early stage concepts to evolving products

 

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
·  2-4 years of hands-on software development experience
·  Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms and know how to apply them in real-world applications
·  Experience in Front-end web development with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3
·  Proficiency with at least one modern web frameworks such as Angular, jQuery, Ajax, D3, Bootstrap
·  Proficiency with at least one modern general-purpose programming languages like Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, Python, etc.
·  Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools - GitHub, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
·  Experience in an agile development team (Scrum)
·  Experience with Cloud services like AWS, GCP, MSFT Azure
·  Strong customer focus and entrepreneurial mindset
·  Enthusiasm for working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
·  Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
·  It would be helpful if you can share any code samples on GitHub
