Be a part of Commercial Sales Marketing organization – the moving force of innovation and net new customers at SAP. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive small projects and reporting initiatives for the team members across all regions, which will require business requirements analysis/definition and project management skills as well as a basic understanding of user interface design (all in a reporting context). Most important attributes will be a strong desire to learn and the ability to apply technical/analytical knowledge in a business context. This role also provides a fantastic opportunity to get exposed to latest technologies in the SAP Business Analytics portfolio as well as tools and best practices of Marketing & Sales process management and execution.

·  Support typical analytical tasks around the topics of demand generation, revenue forecasting and actuals, productivity, etc. (Excel, MS PowerPivot, SAP Business Object tools).
·  Support ad-hoc management requests for data analysis and information.
·  Own the Digital Selling Motion (DSM) across a multitude of social and digital tools, provide regular updates, continuously improve the content and reporting process for Managers in all regions to make intelligent decisions.
·  ​Communicating to ​Stakeholder Management - Strongly align with business stakeholders to ensure marketing programs closely align to business and sales goals. Share knowledge and expertise. Support/enable the Marketing & Sales organization through delivery of key customer assets and stories.
·  Serve as a socially savvy coordinator to help manage request for access to digital tools, the creation of content for our internal JAM page and to work with extended team members to determine future tools that we should investigate and deploy.
·  Coordinating with Commercial Sales Marketing team to organize requests for Digital and Social Tools.

 

·  Track performance and usage of the varied existing Social tools by teams worldwide.

 

·  Investigate potential new tools that will drive SAP to the cutting edge of Digital and Social Engagment.

 

·  Curate incoming and discover original content to be share with a World Wide audience to drive Digital Transformation.

 

·  Support the Commercial Sales Marketing team in upcoming enablement sessions, deliver new cpntent and become the technical expert on the existing suite of tools.
·  Build-up expertise in Franchise4Success (F4S), SAP‘s operating framework providing standard tools and practices to manage and execute sales processes. Support the roll-out and continuous adaptation of the F4S practices and become an advisor for the business.
·  Build reports from scratch or  replace​​Excel reports in SAP Business Objects WebI.
·  In the Lower General Business space apply advanced analytics to develop metrics to gauge productivity, forecast, and actual target attainment.
·  Gather and report [marketing campaign] demand generation metrics on a weekly/monthly basis.
·  Empower managers and peers to coach reps in a way the reinforces training and promote best practices.
·  Align marketing processes and goals, and arming sales with tools to improve sales execution and drive revenue.
·  Wear a digital hat - understand various tools used to engage with customers - i.e. Virtual Studios, SkillGym, Social Selling Index (SSI).

 

The employee who fills this role will need to be able to communicate clearly with their management team, and will be given insight into all aspects of the Sales and Marketing process- contract negotiations, performing enablement sessions, writing content to be consumed globally within SAP, and mastery of the Digital tools in use at SAP to name a few.

 

In addition, the employee will work supporting Marketing to build and deliver Sales Enablement Tools (Social Selling, Power Weeks support, Customer Stories & references, profiling & contact discovery, Campaigns, Customer Intelligence, Digital Selling Motion, etc.) that are customized for Commercial Sales.

 

This role will be located in New York and will integrate with WW Commercial Sales Marketing as well as each regional Marketing and Sales unit on varied projects.

 

The individual will be responsible for ensuring that the Social and Digital options are delivered and executed according to Best Practices, in collaboration with his/her Commercial Sales Marketing team across the Regions.

 

Top Line Requirements: 1) Location of New York  2) Very Innovative, with skills in Digital Marketing and Social Networking 3) Commercial Sales experience within SAP preferred, 4) Marketing Experience (Pipeline & Revenue Generating).

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

 

·  2+ years volume marketing/demand generation experience
·  1+ years of  Specific Commercial Sales Experience
·  Quantifiable digital and Social presence, and a comfort with technology
·  Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization, including understating of global/regional/country organizational dynamics
·  Ability to quickly build relationships within the organization
·  Willingness to adapt quickly to changing responsibilities

·  Undergraduate degree in Marketing, General Business.
·  2+ years volume marketing/demand generation experience
·  1+ years of Specific Commercial Sales Experience
