The multiple national award-winning Sanofi Waterford biopharmaceutical and medical device campus is located in Waterford on Ireland's southeast coast. Key responsibilities

You will gain experience in the areas of Manufacturing Science, Analytical Science and Manufacturing Technology & Industrialisation. As well as working side by side with experienced team members and participating in projects and day to day team activities, you will also receive training designed to help you develop soft skills in a range of areas such as: presentation and communication skills, emotional intelligence, influencing and leadership skills.

Technical Science in Sanofi is focused on new products, industrial launches, technology and analytical transfers while also supporting life cycle management and technology and digital innovation across injectable products and devices.

·  Manufacturing Science you will develop an understanding of critical quality attributes (CQA's) of products manufactured on site. You will learn about the concepts behind drug development from clinical manufacture through licensing and product life cycle management
·  Analytical Science you will learn how to ensure methods are successfully developed and transferred and the importance of ensuring robust, compliant methods and the lifecycle approach needed for method management
·  Manufacturing Technology & Industrialisation you will join the technology transfer team working on scale-up and industrialization of new and existing products at the Waterford site. You will learn about the Quality Target Product Profile (QTPP) and relationship between product Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) and Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and how they support the creation and implementation of a control strategy at manufacturing and release testing scale

About You

To excel in this role you will need to be:

·  A 2nd or 3rd year student studying towards a Primary Degree or Masters in Science (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, Biomedical Science Pharmacy, Technology or Engineering)
·  Have the same sort of values as we do as well as a passion for healthcare
·  Be a self-starter with the determination to succeed
·  Possess a record of high achievement and delivery
·  Have ability to work in a team and on own initiative
·  Have an analytical approach to problem solving

This will be completed online and you will be asked to record your answers using a mobile, tablet or computer. If you pass this stage a member of our recruitment team will conduct a telephone screening interview with you. These are your opportunities to show us who you are and why you are the right person to join Sanofi. Make sure you have a think about your answers before you start recording.

The final stage of the process will be for you to attend a face to face interview. You will be given the opportunity to meet some of your potential colleagues and managers whilst also learning a little more about what Sanofi is all about.
