Senior officer/Assistant Manager

Job description

·  Duties & Responsibilities:

Participate in Project activities and contribute to scientific/developmental experiments for the testing of drug sub-stances (DS), drug products (DP), processes within a multifunctional project team coordinated by a Team Lead/Department Head; Maintain and qualify equipment/infrastructure and operational aspects in lab as assigned. Must have good communication and team work skills. Effective planning, quality execution and organization of work are anticipated.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language

·  Exposure to Analytical method development, validations & transfer related to different Liquid & Gas chromatographic methods for vaccines.  
·  Expertise in the area of analytical testing of Protein and Polysaccharide conjugate vaccines, amino acids, residual impurities, Raw material etc.
·  Good knowledge on GMP, GLP & Good documentation practices.
·  Effective planning and organization is a must.
·  Must have strong communication skills, technical writing & presentation skills.
·  Working/Development experience in implementation of characterization assays to define product profile

Qualification & Language :

·  M.Sc./MTech. with minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech industrial work experience.
·  Good soft skills and documentation skills with proficient technical writing skills

Desirable Experience

·  Development & optimization of characterization methods such as but not limited to LC-MS, GC-MS, DLS, CD, DSC etc. for testing human vaccines.
·  Participate in the Analytical & Manufacturing  investigations.
·  Adherence to appropriate standards as defined in Quality Manual, SOPs, ethical, health, safety, environment (HSE), and information security (ISEC) guidelines.
·  Experience in Calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments
·  Successful and effective execution of assigned tasks within given timelines at expected quality; right the first time & on time; demonstrate initiative and strive for high level of quality 
·  Have the ability to manage time effectively and able to perform different works under tight timelines.
·  This position may require very minimal travel.
·  This position requires the incumbent to be available all the time on need basis.
·  This position will suit an individual who is able to operate with discretion and confidentiality about sensitive data.
·  Awareness of safety regulations and for safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
