Job Summary

We are seeking a research associate to join Biomarkers & Clinical Bioanalysis (BCB), a global department within the Translational Medicine and Early Development unit of Sanofi. The individual in this position should have experience in clinical mass spectrometry and strong attention to details. This position will work as part of a team to perform clinical biomarker analysis in a GCLP setting.

The Biomarkers & Clinical Bioanalysis (BCB) global department plays a key role in translational studies and clinical development, and bridges new drug R&D in pre-clinical and clinical stages. The growing need for translational studies makes BCB highly visible and members are key contributors to product development. The individual in this position will have the opportunity to participate in a fast-paced clinical testing environment and contribute key data to support ongoing drug development at Sanofi.

Location information

·  The position will be located in Framingham, MA (Boston area) but candidates must be willing to relocate to Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities will include:

·  Perform clinical sample analysis following standard operating procedures using validated or qualified LC/MS/MS methods
·  Operate and maintain mass spectrometer instruments, including use of instrument software Analyst and/or Masslynx
·  Use Watson LIMS to set up and analyze runs

Basic Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Medical Technology or relevant laboratory science with 2 to 5 years work experience in bioanalysis using LC/MS/MS in a GLP or GCLP laboratory environment.
·  Experience in basic LC/MS/MS instrument operation

Preferred Qualifications

·  Strong attention to detail
·  Experience with Watson LIMS and clinical data reporting
·  Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
