Summary of purpose/major responsibilities

This position is responsible for completing all approval steps associated with a non-contract price change (i.e. Merck non-contract price changes, etc.), which includes the development of all necessary pricing spreadsheets/files, routing the changes for approvals and ensuring appropriate communication to Finance. This position is also responsible for completing all pricing formulary requests. In addition, the individual in this position will assist with the management of the VaxServe Contract Admin mailbox and will support both the membership and chargeback teams by assisting with files/reconciliations as needed.

Non-Contract Pricing Process:

In the event of a manufacturer price change, assess the variances, develop all appropriate spreadsheets/files and submit to the VaxServe pricing committee for approvals (following the pricing process defined in the Commercial Policy). This also includes obtaining approvals for any pricing UCRs (i.e. competitive response requests). Maintain appropriate documentation for all approvals and communicate the changes to Finance by providing the required SAP inputs. Maintain all non-contract pricing master files.

Contract Admin Mailbox Management:

Assist in the management of the VaxServe Contract Administration Mailbox by responding to inquiries from our internal partners. This will include, but is not limited to, eligibility reviews, GPO membership files, CSEG 407/501 linkage report and other contract-related requests.

Pricing Formulary Requests:

Ensure that all pricing formulary requests are completed and provided to the sales teams in an accurate and timely manner. These will include requests from Retail, Specialty Markets, THS and other segments. As part of the completion process, work with the appropriate individuals on the membership team to ensure the account is linked to the correct contracts/groups prior to communication of any pricing.

Membership & Chargeback Support:

Process all required membership files for contract fulfillment (i.e. Merck, GSK, Dynavax) in a timely manner, ensuring all guidelines for appropriate account selection are followed. Cross-train on other membership related activities, as needed. Assist the Manager, Chargebacks with chargeback file reconciliations and resubmissions, as needed.

Education/experience

BA/BS Degree required (Business degree preferred), with 1-3 years’ experience

Skills/Knowledge:

Written/Oral communication skills

High attention to detail / accuracy

SAP – In depth knowledge

Microsoft Excel – In depth knowledge

Microstrategy – Some experience

EDI – Some experience
