The Clinical Trial Operations (CTO) Solution architect will report to the CTO service line leader.

·  He / She will be a key interlocutor for the technical strategy design and execution in program / projects

CTO Service line delivers 4 services providing insights and support to operate and monitor Clinical trials while ensuring compliance and performance: 1-Study Setup & Site Monitoring, 2-User/Role Management & Training, 3-Monitoring  Data  Process. & Reporting, 4-Centralized monitoring:

·  The CTO Solution architect will design end-to-end solutions (front end, back end, interfaces, API,…) supporting services above to achieve sustainable business value
·  He / She guarantees and promotes the right usage of group’s IT standards for processes, applications and infrastructure environment with specific attention to technical performance management. He/she leverages on ITS portfolio, catalog of services and existing building blocks. Moreover, he/she will have to integrate the new IT industry standards into our R&D landscape to stabilize the technical architecture strategy for ITS to provide competitive advantage to clinical operations business and enable digital capabilities
·  In program/projects, he/she is accountable to prepare document as permit zone, technical and functional architecture. He/she is responsible to adapt those documents to the solution life in his perimeter. He / She designs and produces the detail design documents
·  As CTO services collect and distributes monitoring data to address business needs outside monitoring area, the CTO solution architect will oversee inbound & outbound interfaces as well as monitoring data model to ensure technical homogeneity of the Build –aligned with technical architecture strategy - and business continuity of the Run
·  He/she works in closed collaboration with ITS business process analyst, service owner, clinical architect and Its Domain Experts/engineers. He / She interacts with Enterprise Architect, Domain Experts, Project & Program leaders, service managers and as well ITS tech

Main competencies

 

Technical Skills

·  5+ years ITS experience
·  IT Architecture (3+ years of experience) 
·  Strong experience on Informatica ETL, Oracle DB
·  Integration competencies – including cloud integration: ETL, EAI ,API 
·  Competencies in cloud hosting (public / private cloud ; AWS, google standards)
·  Data lineage competencies
·  Technical performance Management
·  CRM, transversal technical knowledge to leverage best in class IT industry standard and apply to Pharma R&D

Other 

·  Transversal collaboration, focused mindset, Out of the Box thinking and IT open mindset (outside R&D & outside sanofi)
·  Problem Solving, Change Management
·  Innovation management, Product Lifecycle Management  
·  English fluent
·  Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to audience
·  Good working knowledge of Pharmaceutical businesses, processes, trends, GCP constraints and challenges
