Job description

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Clinical Sciences and Operations Project Leader - VIE Contract (W/M)

Job Description:

The Clinical Sciences and Operations (CSO) Associate Project Leader (PL) will assist Clinical Sciences and Operations Project Leader Head in a variety of work streams including but not limited to Company Sponsored Studies (CSS), Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development, Global Medical Affairs (GMA), database transition (Clubnet to IMPACT), prioritization of GMA trials, Optime utlization projects and accuracy, dashboard/highlight/reporting activities, support for financial valorizations and digitial iniatives. The Associate PL may also support CSO PL with such tasks as monitoring the plan execution, reporting on status and ensuring relevant risk mitigation (timelines, budget, & quality) are developed as needed.
The CSO PL is also the CSO's main interface with other platforms, units for the project and enabling functions.

The Clinical Sciences and Operations Associate Project Leader will assist in multiple projects and needs to be flexible in adapting to changing priorities and work stream needs. The associate PL will be expected to work independently on tasks under the direction of the CSO PL Head or CSO PL depending on experience and knowledge.

Key responsibilites:

·  Assisting with the CSS KPI development workstream
·  Developing work stream timelines with CSO PL Head
·  Creating presentations, managing action items, leading/contributing to discussions depending on experience and knowledge
·  Developing communication plan to share project status with key stakeholders
·  Consulting with work stream (DRIVE) as needed
·  Supporting trial transition activities between existing and new databases
·  Identifying key reports capabilities from iStore
·  Reviewing Optime outputs for accuracy and following up with appropriate functions to get updates
·  Supporting CSO PL Head in defining needs of the Global Business Unit prioritization tool, participating in workstream and creating communication plan to share project status with key members of the CSO and planning group
·  Supporting PL Head with monthly reporting process as well as monitoring plans and execution
·  Supporting the PL Head and PLs (as well as Finance Business Partner) in developing an improved process for valorization
·  Supporting PLs with integration and tracking of digital innovations, assisting with KPI definition and monitoring of ROI (Return On Investment)

Key internal relationships:

Frequent basis: cross functional work streams, business units, Clinical Sciences and Operations and Clinical Study Unit, Operational Planning and Capacity Manager, study team members and function leads/heads, when required, within the CSO

As required: other platform and enabling groups

Candidate's profile:

·  Education: Master degree in relevant scientific and/or medical field (Science, Business or Project Management)
·  Experience: at least 1 year of experience in clinical research in pharmaceutical industry and project management
·  Soft skills: transversal and strategic leadership capabilities; business acumen; excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written); capability to effectively handle large complicated global projects that integrate various disciplines; proactive, self-motivated, results-driven and detail-oriented
·  IT tools: MS Office (good knowledge of Power Point and Excel)
·  Languages: fluent English; French would be a plus
