POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Director, Portfolio Marketing will collaborate cross-functionally to develop key digital marketing initiatives to drive the success of the Rare Blood Disorders (RBD) business. This includes the design, development and maintenance of key digital channels to support programs that span the RBD Franchise such as social initiatives, websites, apps, field tools and performance reports.

The Associate Director will drive consistency, coordination and digital platform implementation across the Rare Blood Disorders Franchise to deliver a positive customer experience and strong integrated digital ecosystem. This person will partner closely with brand marketing teams, media lead, patient services, ITS, vendors, agencies, and other functions to ensure integrated delivery across all channels. This person will be responsible for facilitating cross-functional project team meetings, ensuring project milestones are met within established timelines, and managing budgets. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and creative problem-solving skills.

This role will report directly to the Head of Portfolio Marketing for Rare Blood Disorders.          

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Lead large, complex, cross functional projects that are high exposure and high impact, including marketing operations infrastructure projects.
·  Partner with consumer and HCP brand marketing teams to design, develop and execute an industry leading digital presence for the portfolio.
·  Create and maintain channel guidelines and standards to meet PRB policies, portfolio brand standards and leading practices (for channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, video, digital display and websites).
·  Lead coordination with brand teams, senior leadership, corporate communications, and PR agency.
·  Support the Franchise Public Relations lead to amplify Sanofi Genzyme’s commitment to RBD.
·  Manage agency partner and other vendors to ensure execution towards objectives.
·  Ensure that all marketing processes, documents and tactics are developed and implemented in accordance with Sanofi Genzyme corporate compliance guidelines.
·  In partnership with brand marketing teams and media lead, develop and manage online brand campaigns to raise brand awareness, drive engagement, conversion, retention and loyalty.
·  Evaluate and implement technology to support business requirements.
·  Effectively partner with and manage key suppliers, agencies and vendors.
·  Continually review and analyze digital content, programs and inventory to identify opportunities for improvement.
·  Use learnings from market research, competitive intelligence, and digital metrics to recommend strategies to enhance/better the customer experience.
·  Utilize KPIs and analytics dashboard to streamline and recommend opportunities for enhancement and optimization of digital marketing programs.
·  Responsible for the planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing programs and suppliers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

·  Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
·  6+ years preferred of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience
·  2+ years preferred of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing

CRITICAL SKILLS

·  Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners.
·  Demonstrated cross functional experience included but not limited to: Sales, Global Marketing, In-line Brand/Tactical Marketing, Market Research & Analytics, Market Access, Business Operations.
·  Experience successfully implementing and optimizing digital marketing programs.
·  Knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape pertaining to pharmaceutical marketing; including Medical/Legal/Regulatory Review Committee process.
·  Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and demonstrated financial, communication, and presentation skills.
·  Detail-oriented self-starter capable of owning initiatives from beginning to end.
·  High level of personal and professional integrity with strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
·  Knowledgeable about SEO/SEM.
·  Excellent analytical skills, well organized, and detail oriented
