Necessary Skills / Attributes
Position Summary: Android application development engineer works in developing new features or enhances existing Android components suitable for Samsung Knox solution. Working with inter-process communication, database handling, multi-threaded design and application development would be an integral part of the job duties. Responsibilities Include: • Design and develop Android applications leveraging Samsung Knox solutions • Secure client server communication protocols development on the Android device • Handle field issues from customers • Interact with testing & customer support team for technical queries Minimum Qualifications: • Experience in developing high-performance and highly scalable mobile applications • 1+ years of Java development experience • BS/MS, Computer Science and at least 2+ years industry experience Preferred Qualifications: • Hands on experience with Android applications development in a professional environment • Experience in secure client server communication protocols development in Android • Knowledge of the Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques is a plus • Knowledge on Android components such as services, providers, activities, fragments etc. • Knowledge on Android Framework internals is a plus • Experience in C/C++, JavaScript is a plus
