As our System Administrator, you will have a hands-on role in the ongoing technical maintenance of our Marketing Automation platform(s) while helping to build and support the execution of our digital marketing programs using Marketing Cloud, specifically in support of our Quip Business Unit.

Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of support and trust with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

·  User administration (setup and maintaining Users & Roles) within assigned  Business Unit.
·  Collaborates with Corporate System Administrator, IT, Marketing Ops, and Product teams to troubleshoot system errors, provide user support, and help inform product enhancement requests.
·  Works with Email Marketing Manager to help execute email programs and journeys
·  Maintains named systems, alerting various stakeholders to install / process issues, owning issues until handed off.
·  Monitors system performance, and verifies that peripheral integrations are functioning as expected.
·  Implements / owns data backup and recovery policies.
·  Monitor key data propagation & integration processes for success & failures.
·  Reviews the install after all product updates for issues.
·  Owns and maintains Install & Process Documentation in form of internal wiki.
·  Manage email deliverability, database hygiene, subscription management and compliance with global opt-in laws and regulations.
·  Involved in new User onboarding, delivering high-level / introductory overview sessions.

What you have / Who you are:

· 
Bachelor's Degree or similar experience required

· 
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and Email Specialist Certifications highly preferred

· 
2+ years experience as ExactTarget/Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, preferably in an Enterprise scale company.

· 
Creative problem solver and out of the box thinker who can effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders throughout a matrixed organization.

· 
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and deeply evaluate the technical components of a product from a business perspective.

· 
Must be highly proficient in Google Docs, MS Office Suite.

· 
Solid understanding of / experience with data modeling and querying as it pertains to Marketing Cloud required.

· 
Experience working with Marketing Cloud data extensions, queries and automation

· 
Experience working in AMPScript and SQL as used in Marketing Cloud

· 
Experience with testing/optimization platforms, and working with large datasets and databases preferred.

· 
Strong familiarity working within case / ticketing queues, managing competing tasks & troubleshooting requests on behalf of stakeholders

· 
Excellent communication skills.

· 
Familiarity with Salesforce.com a bonus
