This Project Manager will be directly responsible for the successful operations of one or more client projects. A project is an ongoing Services engagement in which a team of consultants is aligned against the continuous execution of work on behalf of a specific client.

In this role, the Project Manager will own the relationship between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and one or more key client accounts. A successful Project Manager leverages deep application knowledge in combination with business and marketing domain expertise to drive a successful program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct the evolution of the program through continuous risk and optimization assessments.
• Provide Program Governance by overseeing teams executing work on behalf of the program to ensure successful completion of deliverables.
• Manage the program's Services budget, and analyze the overall profitability of the account.
• Ensure statements of work properly align Salesforce Marketing Cloud's products and services with the client's business and technology needs.
• Maintains a personal billable rate by delivering client facing work.
• Has experience in technology, marketing and/or strategy consulting.
• Manages and utilises the resources provided by Salesforce Marketing Cloud's partner network to ensure effective project delivery.
• Support sales efforts by conducting presentations, supporting proposals, Scoping and SOW development.
• Facilitate client meetings effectively.
• Effectively communicates relevant Program information to all stakeholders.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
• Sets and manages client expectations.
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
• Continuous review of processes to ensure efficiency between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, clients and partners.

The Project Manager will accomplish these responsibilities by becoming deeply embedded in the client's business and processes, so as to become a subject matter expert on the client's needs. Project management requires frequent communications with and on behalf of the client - sometimes at an executive level - to scope new pieces of work, direct projects, manage client expectations, escalate risks, and report on performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or related field; or equivalent
• Intense customer focus
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• High technical aptitude
• Deep analytical and business acumen
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proven ability to compel unity and productivity in a team
• Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Consulting background with previous work in a Big 5 consulting firm, or a marketing or technology firm
• Project management experience, including creation of project plans, project schedules and associated project materials
• Experience as an executive-level digital marketing expert is a plus
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in consulting and project management
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs / Google Docs (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
• Shows initiative and ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
