The Ohana Floor Barista Operations Coordinator will oversee barista bar service and provide hospitality to all of our visiting Ohana. They are responsible for overseeing all barista operations stemming from the Ohana Floor Barista Bars. The Ohana Floor Barista Operations Coordinator position requires flexibility pertaining to working hours as operations may change on a day to day basis depending on the events planned on the Ohana floor and within Salesforce. The Ohana Floor Barista Operations Coordinator reports to the Executive Chef.

Ohana Floor Barista Operations Coordinator Job Duties:

·  Manages all aspects of the barista program coming from the Ohana Floor Barista Bars.
·  Provides training and guidance to all barista staff, including, but not limited to, beverage brewing, food safety and presentation.
·  Organize coffee related logistics, from beginning to end, for events hosted on the Ohana floor.
·  Manages product ordering related to the Ohana Floor Barista Bars.
·  Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance.
·  Operates the barista bars in a financially responsible manner by working within designated budgets for the overall floor and for specific events.
·  Ensures that barista bar is fully stocked and operational.
·  Maintains operations by preparing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.
·  Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
·  Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
·  Manage external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with internal teams.
·  Assists in creating memorable food experiences for our Ohana.

Ohana Floor Barista Operations Coordinator Skills and Qualifications:

·  Extensive knowledge of food and beverage with special attention paid to coffee and tea.
·  Minimum 5 years coffee industry service experience with at least 3 years management experience.
·  Extensive experience in building barista related programs, equipment and ingredients.
·  Experience in handling guest relations with high profile clients.
·  An understanding of working within budgets.
·  Ability to work with a flexible schedule.
·  Thrives on team work and overcoming obstacles.
·  Attention to detail.
·  Excellent guest relations skills.
·  Ability to maintain and deliver a high quality experience.
·  Must have or obtain Servsafe Manager Certification.
