You’ll be working for Jewsons in Leeds (LS7). Jewsons Tool Hire is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and the role we have in Leeds is an ideal position for an engineer early in their career who is looking for a role that not only offers stability, but also training and the chance to work within a team of experienced professionals that are happy to share their knowledge and time. The role is that of a traditional engineering fitter, someone who is versatile and able to turn their hand to fault finding on a host of equipment, anything ranging from a mini digger to a chain saw, from a cement mixer to winch.

There is some specific experience we are looking for from suitable candidates;

·  Engineering knowledge (Basic Mechanics)
·  Full driving licence
·  Team player

·  Ex-forces with general engineering knowledge
·  Recent college leaver (studied Mechanical / General engineering)
·  Experienced professional engineers looking to continue using their experience / knowledge – but in a different environment (Less target driven / more relaxed)

What will I be doing in the role?

The role will see you working as part of a team of 5, based in LS7. You will complete basic fault find repairs on a host of equipment, ensuring all repairs are completed safely and equipment is tested before been sent back to stores. This role is part of the Tool Hire team and may also involve you delivering and collecting equipment from sites across the North of England.
