 We have a great opportunity for an experienced Control and Automation Engineer to join the engineering team based at our Sherburn site in Leeds, West Yorkshire.  The Sherburn site operates 24/7 and employs over 100 colleagues

Additional Requirements

As a Controls and Automation Engineer you will utilize your Controls, Automation and Instrumentation knowledge to maximise plant efficiency, by actively utilising continuous improvement techniques and delivery of the highest standards. The ideal background will have seen you working a FMCG/Continuous Production industry, where Health and Safety is paramount.

What you’ll be doing as a Controls and Automation Engineer

·  Supporting the Maintenance Team with Controls and Automaton issues
·  Be actively involved in CAPEX and Improvement projects
·  Fault Finding/diagnosing and updating Control Systems
·  Rockwell PLC Programming
·  Managing sub-contractors on site when required

What we’re looking for in a Controls and Automation Engineer

·  An apprentice trained HND Engineer
·  Degree in either Mechatronics, Controls or Electrical Engineering
·  Experience in a previous Automated FMCG production environment
·  Rockwell PLC experience
·  Analysing SCADA data
·  Experience of root cause analysis and Continuous Improvement projects
·  Shows a positive attitude to safety and the environment within the workplace.
·  Computer literate, with good communication skills both written and verbal
