Job description

JOB DUTIES: Develop and implement new or enhanced supply chain processes to improve

aircraft component manufacturing efficiency and performance through inventory management,

materials management and operations planning, including activities related to production and

operations planning to meet customer demand, strategic purchasing, materials requirements

planning, inventory control, receiving and warehousing. Negotiate prices and terms with

suppliers and approve purchase orders. Work with customers to forecast components

manufacture demand. Create and implement supply chain and production plans to ensure lean

manufacturing. Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turn, reduce waste

and optimize customer service. Monitor and resolve supplier issues by assessing performance

metrics, quality issues and delivery requirements. Prepare performance reports.
