Job description
• Quoting and arranging shipments of finished products to customers worldwide under DAP terms (primarily ground freight)
• Booking and managing unloading slots in the end customer's reservation system
• Preparing and printing documents required for transport execution
• Selling and transferring items in the ERP system for transport execution purposes
• Creating requests for transport purchase orders
• Reviewing and approving transport invoices
• Communicating with departments across the company and with representatives of transport companies
• Optimizing transport costs with regard to customer requirements
Candidate skills & requirements
• At least a vocational certificate; ideally a high school diploma
• Experience in a similar position and familiarity with logistics is a plus
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Infor LN, etc.) is a plus
• English language proficiency at a minimum of A2 level (intermediate) – email communication with dispatchers, carriers, suppliers, and customers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving, implementation of corrective and preventive measures
• Attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks to the required quality standards and within the specified timeframe
