Job description
Act as the onsite support engineers in China for SED activities. This role reports to SED program onsite support manager in China and overseas program.
Program support and management interfacing with COMAC
• Ensure good level communication with all COMAC layers and teams
• Lead and organize regular program review with COMAC, based on alignment with home team program manager
• Define the process of resolving critical issues based on understanding of COMAC process, including escalation to the correct level
• Follow up and track actions of program
• Other program related topics when required by home team
Engineering support
• Lead and organize regular engineering review with COMAC, for on-going design/design change/field service technical topics
• Ensure good track of exchanges (ECM, ECP, PCM, CCM, etc.) and maintain database
• Provide input/proposal for making engineering solution to get alignment for both COMAC and Safran sides
• Other engineering related topics when required by home team
Quality support
• Ensure good communication with COMAC quality team
• Lead and organize regular quality review meeting with COMAC
• Provide input/proposal for closing quality issues such as SCAN/QDN
• Other quality related topics when required by home team
Final assemble line ( FAL ) support and intervention required
• Ensure the smooth activity of COMAC FAL product flow
• Support inspection and deal with the issues reported by COMAC FAL
• Support assemble issues and apply intervention when required
• Other FAL support related topics
Commercial support
• Support contract discussion when required by home team
• Follow up COMAC PO/RPO/Quote approval/payment status, especially when there is blocking point from program/engineering/quality sides
• Other commercial topics when required by home team
Aftermarket/Customer service support
• Support answering to SACSC engineering's requests, including the technical issues reported by Airlines to SACSC
• Support spares business and spares quality performance
• Support tech pub
• Other aftermarket/customer service topics when required by home team
Entry Into Service ( EIS ) support for new operators of COMAC A/C
• Interface with new operators of COMAC A/C at EIS (3 month after delivery ) for all topics
• Ensure good communication with EIS customers with quick response
• Ensure smooth transition EIS period to standard support process with home team
Candidate skills & requirements
Requirements:
• Engineering background, bachelor or master degree with 3+ years working experience in aviation industry as an engineering or project management or customer support role
• Good at problem-solving, willing to dig into details, patient and efficient when explaining/clarifying to customers and other team members
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to perform simple rework/inspection on the products under instruction from overseas home team when necessary
• Fluent at English speaking/listening/writing, French is a plus
• Able to adapt to irregular working time due to meetings with overseas teams when necessary
