Descripción de puesto

Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for surveillance all the compliance, effectiveness and quality of the shop processes with the applicable aeronautical authorities, OEM, customers, Quality Management System, and company procedures requirements.

Verify that SAESA's Quality System is followed and updated as required

Works with other areas in the review and preparation of internal procedures and formats, and assure its compliance with Company's Policies and the Authority requirements

Participate in Quality Investigations required to establish root causes of non-conformities and customer complains. Assure a correct follow up of the root causes tooling's during the investigations

Performs internal audits of the different areas of the Company

Reports and request action plans for non-conformances and improvement opportunities

Follows the correction of Non Conformities, verifying that containment action are taken on time and monitoring its effectiveness of action plans

Validates the Capability Self Evaluation form SA01-FT-023 or the DVM form TCS-FT-243 for each new process implemented in the Company

Participates in the creation, analysis and updating of quality indicators as required in order to establish action plans.

Verifies and validate the first article (FAI) for new processes

Validates qualification file for special processes

Performs returns of experience (RETEX) and briefings for her/his assigned gate.

Perform training on Quality Fundamentals in the On Boarding plan

Preforms the Spot Audits, performs the calibration for personnel participating in the spot audit program as auditors and verifies completion of the action plan for the spot audits of her/his specific gate

-Knowledge and handling and searching technical manuals and Technical Information

-CFM56 and LEAP Series Engine knowledge

-Knowledge of quality standards

-Knowledge of operation of industrial processes and repairs of pairs

-Lean Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, PDCA, Kaizen)

-Problem-solving and risk management knowledge (8Ds, bow-tie, FMEA)

-Core Quality Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA)

-FAI's Validation.

-Technical Risk Analysis Management.

-MRO Standard Practices.

-Analysis and Interpretation of specifications and technical documents.
