Purchasing Work Experience Placement

Job description

As the successful candidate, you will be embedded in the Purchasing department, focusing on reviewing the global market and implementing the long-term business strategies.

In addition to spending time with the team, you will be given challenges to help develop your understanding of what is required in a commercial environment.

By the end of the placement, you will have a sound understanding and be able to confidently identify the key objectives within the Safran Landing Systems Purchasing function.

6 – 10th July

Job requirements

Due to legal restrictions, you must be at least 15 years old and within academic year 10-12 upon application.

You will be self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic. A keen interest in aerospace is desirable but not essential.

Within your cover letter, please consider 3-5 skills you would be keen to develop during your placement. If successful, you will be provided with a log book to monitor and develop the skills identified.
