Job description
Summary
The Project Scheduler plays a critical role in strengthening project execution by owning and integrating schedules across resources, departments, and projects. This role bridges the gap between tactical project management and strategic planning. The Scheduler consolidates inputs from engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and other departments into a realistic, resource loaded schedule, identifies risks and opportunities, and proactively supports the team by providing accurate data that drives decision making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Actively participates in a continuous improvement culture providing recommendations and implementing enhancements to current methods and procedures.
• Develops, maintains, and continuously improves integrated project schedules across multiple departments
• Partners closely with Senior Project Managers, Program Managers, and Project Managers to understand day to day activities and dependencies.
• Translates tactical inputs into a cohesive, resource loaded schedule.
• Analyzes schedules to identify:
• Resource conflicts
• Critical path risks
• Opportunities for optimization or re sequencing
• Proactively surfaces insights and recommendations based on what the schedule reveals.
• Supports strategic decision making by providing clear, forward looking schedule scenarios.
• Ensures schedule accuracy, realism, and alignment with actual execution.
• Supports Project Managers by reducing administrative and coordination burden.
• Continuously improves scheduling processes and standards as the organization matures.

Candidate skills & requirements
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field, such as:
• Project Management
• Operations
• Engineering
• Business Administration
• Experience in project scheduling, project coordination, or project controls preferred.
• Experience working closely with Project Managers and cross functional teams.
• Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, or complex technical projects is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of project scheduling fundamentals
• Ability to think systemically and strategically, beyond individual tasks.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Comfortable integrating inputs from multiple departments.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret what schedules are truly indicating.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate schedule insights into actionable recommendations.
• Willingness and ability to learn engineering and execution processes.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and spreadsheet-based analysis.
• Ability to connect data to business decisions and explain insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
