Job description



Responsible for the MRJ Program - Fuel & Inerting System to meet internal and external safety and quality. Act as the primary technical contact for MRJ's ground and flight testing campaign in the U.S (with trip to be considered to MITAC test sites within the U.S). Responsible for on-site troubleshooting, data gathering, reporting and communicating to the teams in France. Coordinate with Zodiac France based teams and the customer's teams in both the U.S & Japan for all Engineering, Quality, Contract and Procurement activities. Work with respective program managers/directors to make sure all risks are identified and addressed in advance to mitigate and take actions. Prepare and manage project schedules to ensure on time delivery, keep track of all critical path items and work with cross functional teams. Coordinate activities between customer and France based teams for compliance to airworthiness/health and safety/environmental regulations, customer requirements, quality standards, and OEM specifications. Support entry in service for American Airlines customers of the MRJ. Responsible for other programs such as: Business development and follow-up of current U.S activities on behalf of ZSSM/Zodiac Fueling and Inert System Business Units. Primary contact for Quality topics for Boeing and coordinate with ZSSM/Zodiac Fueling and Inert System quality department. Punctual support for CESSNA program upon request of the teams in France.

**Fluency in French (oral and written) is required.

Job requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in any Engineering field plus 2 years of experience in the offered position or related position.

ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in any Engineering field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the offered position or related position.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered.
Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time”. Required expertise/knowledge includes:

·  • Understanding of the Aerospace System/Equipment manufacturer market, contract, processes and budget management
·  • Reading, understanding, and writing technical documents including part drawings and specifications
·  • Knowledge of Aerospace standards, regulations (including DO-160 Environment Qualification Requirements, FAR25.981 Fuel Tank Ignition Compliance, DO254/178 Airborn Hardware / Software Development requirements) and deliverables ;
·  • Technical Documents for Aerospace Equipment: Drawings, Schematics, Electrical Schematics, Qualification Test Procedures & Reports, Equipment/System/Software Specifications;
·  • Project management experience (including Schedule Management, Cost Management, and Quality Management) in the aerospace industry.

OTHER: Job Site: Everett, WA. *May require working at a third party site in Everett WA. 40 hours/week. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
