Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Quality Engineer to drive excellence in our manufacturing processes. You will be the bridge between Engineering, Production, and Program Management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective aerospace components. Your mission is to minimize waste while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance for both New Product Introductions (NPI) and Maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Governance:
Lead First Article Inspections (FAI) and Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP).
Problem Solving:
Manage Quality Notifications (QN), Customer Returns, and Quality Clinics, driving rapid resolution and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Documentation:
Create and maintain critical quality assets, including Quality Plans and detailed Standard Works.
Auditing:
Execute and manage product-specific audits to ensure rigorous adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as a key point of contact for internal teams (Manufacturing, Eng, PM), suppliers, external customers, and Aviation Authorities.
Candidate skills & requirements
Professional Requirements
Education: Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven track record within the Aerospace industry.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of mechanical design, technical drawings, and specifications.
Solid knowledge of EASA Part 21 & Part 145 regulations and experience interfacing with Authorities (ENAC, FAA).
Expertise in Special Processes (Heat Treatments, NDT, Galvanic) and Material Review Board (MRB) management.
Root Cause Analysis: Advanced proficiency in RCA tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analysis).
Audit Skills: Qualified Internal Auditor (EN9100 40h training is highly preferred).
