Join Us as a Painter
In this hands‑on role, you'll prepare and paint aerospace components that support both OE and Spares production. Working within our busy Paint facility, you'll contribute directly to the quality and reliability of our products.
You'll rotate across a range of shift patterns—including Days, Bridging, Nights and Weekends—while working safely, accurately, and collaboratively. All PPE is provided, and safety is at the heart of everything we do.
What you'll be doing:
• Interpret complex drawings, engineering layouts and procedures to determine the correct sequence of painting operations.
• Prepare, paint and finish aerospace components, including touch up work where required.
• Use and maintain precision measuring tools and specialist painting equipment to meet quality standards.
• Handle safe lifting and loading of components and follow all Paint Shop HSE requirements, including the correct use of respirators.
• Use MES and SAP systems to manage workflow, ensuring deadlines and production targets are achieved.
Candidate skills & requirements
What you'll bring
• 1–2 years of paint shop experience, with aerospace experience considered an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Confidence using precision measurement tools and understanding technical drawings and procedures.
• Physical capability to wear a respirator and follow all safety requirements within a paint environment.
• A reliable, proactive approach, with the ability to meet targets across rotating shift patterns.
