Job Description
Manage all aspects of the Repair and Overhaul Departments high level planning to support sales forecast including maximizing part availability to deliver a quality on time product meeting all Customer requirements. This will include liaising with other internal departments and systems directly related to this process. As well as the day-to-day management of detail part ordering to support operations for the Repair and Overhaul department. The job is also intended to be a catalyst for improvements in inventory practices leading to significant improvements in, delivery performance, quality, and overall Inventory management.
Complementary Description
Detail part ordering to support sales forecast
Liase with internal Customers to ensure sales forecast and part provisioning are aligned
Manage inventory levels to ensure company targets are met
Improve all processes related to the planning and inventory management of the MRO department
Assist in the creation of the departmental forecasts and budgets
Job Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead in a team environment. Superior organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a high paced environment and to coordinate several projects at one time with aggressive deadlines.
University Degree or College Diploma in a field related to business management is desirable
A minimum of 3 years' experience planning role
High level of technical knowledge and proficiency required. Proficient in interpretation of Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, drawings, and other technical data. Familiar with Canadian Aviation Regulations pertaining to component maintenance and airworthiness requirements (CAR 571,573)..
Ability to work effectively with others consistent with the company's values
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal as required
