Job description

Main Responsibilities:
To set and operate a CNC Milling Machine (Hermle with Fanuc/Hedenhien controls) and various manual milling equipment. Produce parts to the required drawing and specification utilising set up reductions, maximising output, and prioritising workload. Contributing to 5S, TPM and carrying out ‘in process' inspection as required.

Main Activities:
Using standardise processes, programs, established tooling and fixtures set CNC Hermle 5 axis machine and operate to produce high tolerance parts in a variety of materials. Coupled with the traditional machines in manual milling be capable of and willing to perform standard bench operations such as de-burring, part marking, cleaning and pressure washing.

Must :
Be qualified in a recognised apprenticeship
Be capable of reading sketch sheets and engineering drawings
Be capable of learning and training ‘on the job' as the need arises

Have experience in a similar role

Be trained in the use of CNC Milling machining
