What You Will Do:
You will primarily work alongside production mechanics and fabricators learning the manufacturing process and gaining hands on experience with the products we produce.
You will:
• Fabricate detailed components and/or value-added tasks to detailed components
• Operate various fabrication machines and equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to complete parts and assemblies You will gain exposer to the engineering disciplines at NAT through:
• Working one on one with a mentor in your discipline
• Information sessions with our in house industry experts
• Shadowing engineers in various disciplines
Hourly: $15.75 - $22.26

• Pursing a Bachelor's degree in a field that offers the opportunity to gain a well-rounded background (i.e. Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, or Materials Engineering)
• Minimum: Completed first year or equivalent credits at start of internship • Preferred: Completed second year or equivalent credits at start of internship
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Ability to: communicate in English (read, write and verbally communicate); select and work with proper tools for job task; time-management and organizational skills; climb and work on step stools and/or ladders; lift 50 lbs. without assistance/able to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance; reach overhead; work in a non-dust-free environment, normal or corrected vision (required to perform exacting tasks); range of motion with both hands; hands; can work in a stooping, kneeling or standing position and in cramped areas
