Job Requirements
Your profile:
Qualifications:
• A higher education degree.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Practical knowledge of ADR regulations, customs laws, and Incoterms (training provided for updates).
• Understanding of logistics operations, including road and air freight.
Skills:
• Structured and precise approach to work, following established procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
• Flexibility to handle shifting priorities efficiently.
• Autonomous after six months of training.
Languages:
• Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English (good understanding for internal communication and external supplier contacts).
Your Impact:
• Serve as the first point of contact for daily transport-related queries.
• Ensure timely and complete administrative handling of shipments and related reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation for customs and compliance purposes.
Specificity of the job
Your role:
As a Logistics Administrator, you will manage the end-to-end administrative process for the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with customs regulations:
Administrative Support for Goods Movement:
• Prepare shipping and receiving documentation (e.g., Air Waybills, pro forma invoices).
• Create and update purchase requisitions and orders in the ERP system.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date data in IT systems.
Transport Coordination:
• Schedule and oversee all transport bookings, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Customs Compliance:
• Verify and ensure compliance with applicable customs laws and rulings.
• Review documents for inbound and outbound shipments.
Reporting:
• Prepare and submit periodic reports on imports and exports.
