This position will be an internship supporting the development of new manufacturing operations and processes. This ranges from an introduction of new prospective equipment to advanced fabrication strategies and creative ingenuity. In this role, you will apply Manufacturing 4.0 methodologies to carry our technical production advancements into the skies.
Main Objectives:
• Industrialization Engineering support for new Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives
• Communication with Design Engineering and production departments in various facilities to ensure manufacturability and standardization throughout development
• Process design through common methods, such as tooling, instructions and equipment.
• Engineered solutions to Improve process and workstation safety
• Proposals for Tooling and process equipment design for standards and quality improvements
Candidate skills & requirements
• Problem Solving and Process design through common methods, such as tooling, instructions and equipment.
• Creation and maintenance of process work instructions when needed
• Prototype and test procedure design for new manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Tooling and process equipment design for New Programs
• Prototype and test procedure design for new manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Provide and maintain work instructions when needed
• Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture
• Regular, predictable attendance is required
