Job description
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with daily administrative operations, recruitment activities, policy review, and campus management initiatives. This role is ideal for a student seeking hands‑on exposure to HR processes in an industrial/manufacturing environment. The position focuses on organization, communication, and compliance support.
• Recruitment & Onboarding Support
o Assist with posting job openings on internal/external platforms
o Help source candidates or review resumes
o Schedule interviews and support communication with applicants
o Assist with onboarding activities
• HR Administration & File Organization
o Organize employee files (digital and physical) to ensure accuracy and compliance
o Scan documents and save or rename files into the correct folders
o Support document management and record‑keeping improvements
o Help maintain confidentiality of employee information
• Policy Review & Compliance Support
o Assist in reviewing HR policies and procedures
o Identify inconsistencies or gaps and propose improvements
o Conduct basic research or benchmarking on HR best practices
o Ensure updated files and policies are properly stored
• Campus Management & Outreach
o Help develop a list/database of potential campus partners
o Draft outreach emails or prepare introductory materials
• Optional / As-Interest Activities (Only if the intern shows interest or team workload requires)
o Support training and development activities
o Assist with event coordination and employee engagement initiatives
Candidate skills & requirements
Education and/or Experience:
• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• First experience
Knowledge/Skills:
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Able to maintain confidentiality
