Job description

In charge of the financial controlling of the legal entity, providing to GM / CFO financial analysis and performance indicators to follow the activity, recommending corrective actions and improvements where necessary.

Responsible for the proper application of SAFRAN Group financial processes and focal point on financial matters for all Company departments and management.

Main Function Responsibilities and Activities:

-Help GM / CFO manage the overall economical performance and financial decisions

-Coordinate planning/budgeting processes with local and group stakeholders

·  Develop, maintain and provide monthly financial performance indicators

-Lead internal control campaign, assessing the compliance of the entity with respect to SAFRAN referential

-Ensure company adherence to SAFRAN group financial rules and processes (finance and operation related). Report deviations, propose action plans and solutions as appropriate.

-Perform financial analysis required by GM/CFO and support operation teams in day to day actions and decisions having impacts on economical performance

-Maintain costing system, lead cost control and analysis to compare actual performance to latest forecasts (activity, cost absorption, job order analysis, expense control, hourly rate tracking, inventories, variance analysis…)

-Support SAP upgrade plan and ensure manufacturing data maintenance and accuracy. Contribute to the continuous improvement tools and processes (data analytics, automation..)

-Contribute to the financial management of fixed assets (budgeting, follow up of actual commitments and process control, in coordination with fixed asset accountant)

-Interface with other Finance departments within the Division/Group (Central Accounting / Reporting / Treasury / Controlling teams, other SAFRAN entities Controlling, …)

Candidate skills & requirements

Accounting/Finance degree.

CMA completion

Experience in Finance Controlling in Manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in using SAP FI/CO
