Job description
• Preparation of monthly tax entries, installments, and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and forecasts.
• Coordination and support of annual corporate tax filings, including transfer pricing documentation, NR4s and true-up entries.
• Assist with the annual reviews and respond to government or regulatory body audits as required.
• Coordination, maintenance, testing, and communication in support of the annual internal control campaign.
• Support expense report process including monthly compliance reviews and recharges.
• Preparation of various monthly reconciliation reports and daily/monthly sales reporting requirements.
• Entering and maintaining financial information into SAP, including various journal entries and accruals.
• Support other special projects and responsibilities as required by the Finance Department.
Candidate skills & requirements
• University degree in Business or Commerce; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of related experience in financial accounting, Taxation, Internal Audit, reporting, costing, budgeting and analysis is required.
• Ability to interpret and apply accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Excel.
• Taxation and audit experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Knowledge of Internal Controls is an asset.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven Team Player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Works well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Well-developed analytical and research skills, together with attention to detail.
Salary: $58,400 - $72,900
