The Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring timely financial reporting in accordance with Safran Group
requirements, through maintaining up to date knowledge of financial regulations and practices. Full-time and part-time (minimum 24 hours) will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities & Duties;
Provide assistance with preparation of the reporting requirements for the monthly, half year and annual results, in accordance with Safran Group requirements and deadlines, to include P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
Provide assistance with preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts working papers.
Preparation of internal and external reporting requirements for Corporation Tax and VAT, in accordance with Safran Group and HMRC requirements and deadlines.
Prepare, support and develop employee expense reporting and payments.
Support the promotion, implementation and upgrades of all Safran Group and Safran Seats GB financial systems, to include local financial reporting software, TCM. Be a super user of group applications along with local ERP system and reporting software.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and complete asset audit cycle.
Assist Senior Financial Accountant with Safran Internal and 3rd party external auditors as required.
Support Safran Internal Control Campaign across multiple business functions
Support and develop continuous improvement activities to ensure reporting process
improvements are captured.
Support and deputise for the Senior Financial Accountant as and when required.
Ad-hoc projects and financial support

Job Requirements

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Financial Reporting
• Proficient in the use of all MS Office packages – specifically use of
Excel formulas and functions for data manipulation

Desirable Skills;
Experience of writing and/or delivering financial training
• Knowledge of BAAN ERP system
• Knowledge of Info M3 ERP system
• Knowledge of SAP BPC reporting system
• Knowledge of TCM reporting software
