You will join the Evacuation Systems Business Unit (SEV), part of the DASY Division, a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of evacuation slides, life rafts, and life vests for aircraft, as well as flotation systems for helicopters.

You will join the Configuration Control Department, taking on the role of Configuration Management Specialist, reporting to the Technical Services Manager. You will work closely with internal teams (Engineering, Product Management, IT, Manufacturing) and external partners (Customers, Suppliers).

In this context, your main missions will be to:

– Contribute to Configuration Management and Engineering Change Processes: · Participate in the processing and tracking of changes to engineering data (e.g., ECN, BOM/Item requests) · Assist in the preparation and typing of design change documents (such as ECN's and EDR's) · Get involved in the preparation, distribution, and change effectivity control for the Engineering Change Review Board (ECRB) · Provide your expertise to establish and enforce configuration management department processes

– Manage the Integrity and Flow of Engineering Data: · Ensure that product structures are accurately updated in the M3 ERP system to capture data and part requirements · Lead the release of all product changes, ensuring accurate record keeping and completion of associated tasks · Implement documentation processes to successfully validate new or changed products · Coordinate the submission and monitoring of engineering data to customers, and facilitate communication regarding comments or rejections

– Ensure Data Quality and Process Adherence: · Carry out audits to ensure conformity to written CM procedures · Monitor and control serialization procedures · Provide various status reports and charts for product changes and related processes, using tools such as Excel and Power BI · Distribute engineering documents through both electronic and paper-based processes

You may also be asked to perform other departmental tasks as defined by your manager.
