Job description

Job Responsibilities

Role Purpose:

• Lead cross-functional improvement and transformation projects as a full-time Lean Six Sigma Black Belt,

strengthening employee engagement and ownership in continuous improvement.

• Deploy the ONE SAFRAN way and QRQC practices to improve industrial maturity, operational

performance, and problem-solving capability.

Key Responsibilities

·  Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Lead and execute improvement projects such as DMAIC, Kaizen, Problem Solving Workshops, and

Business Process Reengineering to enhance operational performance.

• Act as a strategic improvement partner to operational teams, ensuring effective implementation and

sustainability of improvement actions.

• Drive cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and process optimization in alignment with business

objectives.

·  Coaching & Culture Development

• Coach and mentor Lean Six Sigma Green Belts and cross-functional improvement teams.

• Promote and support ONE SAFRAN, QRQC and Lean principles to strengthen continuous improvement

culture.

• Identify, document, and share best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance organizational

learning and process standardization.

·  Data Analysis & Methodology Application

• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify performance gaps, validate hypotheses, and support

decision-making.

• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., RCA, Gauge R&R, Hypothesis Testing, DOE, TOC) for

structured problem-solving and improvement validation.

• Ensure the appropriate and effective use of Lean and analytical approaches across departments.

·  Digitalization & Innovation

• Lead or support innovation and digital transformation projects within the Manufacturing/Lean 4.0

framework.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align and execute digital and improvement programs

effectively

Candidate skills & requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial Engineering).

• Master's degree preferred.

Experience

• Experience in operational or manufacturing-related roles, preferably in the aerospace or high-end

manufacturing industry.

• Demonstrated experience in leading improvement, transformation, or change management projects.

• Familiar with industrial maturity assessment and improvement deployment.

• Proven track record in innovation, efficiency / flow / lead time improvement, and cost reduction programs.

• Implementation of Lean 4.0 / Manufacturing 4.0 practices and shopfloor Lean deployment (e.g., 5S,

visual management, JIT, TOC, Line Balance).

Professional Knowledge / Technical Skills

• Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; Certified Black Belt from a recognized organization or

multinational company (proof of certification required).

• Proficient in structured problem-solving tools (RCA, FMEA, DOE, MSA, Hypothesis Testing, etc.).

• High data literacy, able to analyze, interpret, and present insights clearly.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); experience with Power BI is an

advantage.
