As the Supply Chain Technician, you will administer and maintain material or process programs related to inventory and orders, which may include imports and exports to foreign countries. You will be responsible for staging and issuing production materials based upon work orders and/or coordinating product distribution based upon customer demand. You will coordinate the functions of shipping, receiving, materials forecasting, logistics and/or inventory, possibly working with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. The job will require you to plan and schedule deliveries of freight by truck using guidelines to provide economical rates and high performance levels, consolidating and building volume shipments whenever possible. You will conduct audits to monitor inventory level, to determine status of current orders, and to forecast needs for future orders.

You will build specialized knowledge of a particular area, system or equipment that will require specific training and certification, and you will apply some advanced skills to the position or specialization. You may adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position. While duties are generally routine, the job may include non-routine tasks.

You will be responsible for resolving most questions and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher levels. The job will require you to apply basic skills and may develop advanced skills appropriate for the position. Duties and tasks are standardized. You will resolve routine questions and problems and refer more complex and non- routine issues to higher levels while working under direct supervision and following standard procedures to accomplish tasks.

Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

· 
Manage inventory, finished goods, raw materials, and computer system transactions, which may include material location changes, unplanned issues transactions, expired/scrapped/rejected material transactions, and literature transactions.

· 
Investigate inventory/process, systems problems and drive their resolution.

· 
Gather material for orders and stage appropriately, and reconcile and maintain material inventory.

· 
Completes all documentation/administration associated with inventory.

· 
Schedules and coordinates efficient distribution of products to satisfy customer demand.

Requirements

· 
High School diploma or equivalent.

· 
1 year of related experience

· 
Thorough understanding of the principles and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001.

· 
Computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word and Excel).

· 
Experience in SAP or other inventory system.

· 
Good oral and written communication skills.

· 
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

· 
Be able to perform basic math calculations.

· 
Must be willing to work 2:30pm - 11pm
