As part of the global technical development organization, we are responsible for the analytical research and development for new drug substances and drug products, at the Roche Basel site. This includes the development, optimization and validation of state-of-the-art analytical methods involving mostly chromatographic techniques. Our responsibilities also include the evaluation and implementation of new analytical technologies and methodologies.

You will support the Analytical Research and Development organization in different scientific working areas, such as:

·  Development of standardized analytical methods for the determination of physiochemical material properties
· 
Application of the developed analytical methods to a range of active compounds and excipients

· 
Small-scale manufacturing of formulation prototypes and characterization of material properties

Your Profile

You are an enrolled student in the subject of Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Technology and have an interest in analytical topics. Furthermore you are passionate about using and sharing your knowledge as part of a 6-months internship in a modern working environment.

Your profile for this position:

Reliable and accurate working style

Self-sufficient, passionate to work on problem solving

· 
Good knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· 
Proficient in English, German is a plus

This internship opportunity is one of around ten we offer in the department per semester. The interviews will take place in an interview day with all considered candidates and the whole department.
