- Formulation and stability of enzymes and protein conjugates -

Characterizing polymerases and membrane proteins, including analytical HPLC, DLS, DSF and other biochemical and biophysical methods

- Reagent production, characterization and tracking QC results

- Expression of DNA polymerases and other membrane proteins in E. Coli and their purification using AKTA FPLC system

- Documenting and writing up production protocols and batch records

Qualifications:

·  Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology or related discipline or M.S./B.S with equivalent industrial experience
·  Strong familiarity with chromatography methods such as AEX, CEX, SEC and affinity using AKTA and analytical HPLC instruments such as Infinite 1260, etc. is a requirement
·  Previous experience with developing and executing DNA polymerase assays, DNA-protein interaction assay is desirable
·  Demonstrated experience with protein conjugation techniques, protein-protein attachment, and fluorescent labeling
·  Previous exposure to protein structural and functional analysis and characterization techniques such as DLS, DSF, fluorescent spectroscopy, CD, ELISA, MS, etc. is a plus
·  Demonstrated meticulous documentation capabilities
·  Demonstrated strong analytical skills with methodical approaches to trouble-shooting
