Roche Diagnostics has an exciting opportunity to play a key role in management of medical and scientific activities by addressing questions focused on Roche Diagnostic's molecular testing portfolio.

As a Scientific Affairs Manager supporting this portfolio of products you will facilitate and develop the relationship with the medical/scientific community by communication of product related information to investigators and institutions.

You will help drive market advancement through the creation and communication of scientific information, education, clinical practice change, and the development and engagement of key opinion leader relationships in order to drive product value proposition.

In this role you will:

• Provide information on research developments, and new concepts in medical treatment, giving perspective to field activities associated with growing existing products, and bringing new products to market

• Stay current on research developments and new concepts in medical treatment, giving perspective to field activities associated current or new products

• Deliver critical scientific exchange including medical/scientific education and replies to unsolicited “off-label” inquiries in support of healthcare professionals, Roche scientific support groups and local and global business teams

• Support the efficient planning, tracking and timely communication of key data

To be successful in this role you will have a PhD in Chemistry, Biology, other natural science discipline or MD degree.

Additionally you will have:

• 3 years of industry or clinical setting experience

• Experience working with business leaders, clinicians, and regulatory authorities

• Knowledge of and compliance with laws and regulations, policies and procedures, guidelines for data dissemination and interactions with health care professionals

• Knowledge of diagnostic laboratory techniques and advanced skills in interpreting scientific/clinical data and in developing quality publications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation, lecture, and teaching skills

• Knowledge of virology, cervical cancer and/or oncology testing products preferred

• Domestic travel (US) required – up to 60%

• Territory: Texas/Colorado OR California/Washington
