Job Summary:
The Policy Impact Partners are central to our vision to transform healthcare in India. As part of Roche India's state-wise operating model, you will be responsible for working with our
State team in West Bengal and Assam to deliver strategic projects that strengthen local health systems and deliver the best outcomes and value for patients in oncology and rare
diseases. The collaborations and strategic partnerships you build with providers, public health organisations, tech companies, policy makers and patient groups will ensure that
Roche provides value beyond our medicines, delivering sustainable access to quality healthcare for all citizens. In addition to your state responsibilities, you will also bring your
strengths and experience in access and policy to the rest of Roche India, transferring your learnings and ideas to other state teams and supporting the delivery of national projects.

Accountabilities:
 Co-develop State strategies that support increased access to healthcare and standard of care
 Build strategic partnerships with relevant local policy makers, influencers, institutions, NGOs, and patient organisations to strengthen health systems and support access
goals
 Work with key state decision makers and influencers to ensure prioritization of focus therapy areas with sustainable funding flows to support access to standard of care
 Bring strategic insight and access/policy expertise to the State Team, supporting the development of ASP and local brand strategies
 Leverage access solutions from the Patient Value team to increase funding and healthcare capacity for access
 Identify and address access/policy barriers to Annual State Plan objectives
 Establish equity of Roche as an innovative organization focused on citizen wellbeing and patient access to high quality healthcare

 Deep understanding of health systems in West Bengal and Assam
 Expert understanding policy strategy and influencing
 Strong personal leadership attributes for internal and external partnership building and stakeholder management
 Prioritisation and decision making to target strategies in areas of greatest need and impact
 Entrepreneurial approach to local health system and business challenges
 Creative self-starter, inspiring collaboration from Head Office and State teams to support state project delivery
 Adept project and budget management

 Professional written communication and polished presentation skills

Qualifications and experience:
● Bachelor's degree is required; MBA, Post-Graduate is preferred
● Fluent English language knowledge, written and verbal, additional local languages are an advantage
● At least 5 years' experience in public health, market access or policy roles
● Experience of working in networked organisations
● Understanding of local state environment and healthcare levers is beneficial
