Legal Counsel M&A and Finance

As part of the cross-divisional Group Legal Department at Roche's headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, our team is responsible for the legal aspects of Roche's worldwide M&A transactions, corporate structure, Group Functions and Basel site.

Job Description

As part of our team you will mainly work on the following tasks:

· 
M&A transactions

· 
Legal advice and support of Group Finance including in particular treasury

· 
Legal advice and support of other Group Functions

· 
Drafting, assessment and negotiation of contracts of various types

· 
Collaboration in interdisciplinary and international teams and participation in negotiations in Switzerland and abroad

Requirements

· 
Master degree in Law (MLaw, lic.iur.) or JD, admission to the bar and/or equivalent additional qualifications

· 
Professional experience preferred, desirably in the fields of M&A or finance

· 
Willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams, to represent the legal function and to deliver business-oriented solutions

· 
Enthusiasm, ability to work under pressure (including high time pressure), in a volatile, complex and ambiguous environment

· 
Strong analytical and negotiating skills and assertiveness

· 
Fluency in English and German
