Roche Research and early Development (pRED) is one of Roche's scientific organisations which has a supporting communications function (within Group Communications). As an Intern in pRED Communications, you will be part of our team with your own communications projects. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field and make your contribution in an international and multicultural environment.

As a Communications Intern you will assist in creating and engaging creative scientific content, which will be delivered across our internal Group channels. Working closely the communications team, you will help manage pRED's internal news flow and support different online channels and events. You will also manage and drive your own projects to contribute to your studies.

In this position you will:

·  Be part of our communications team and actively participate in the development, improvement and implementation of communications projects and campaigns.
·  Have a dedicated project related to your studies
·  Learn how to create engaging content for your audiences
·  Learn how best to implement effective communications projects and campaigns
·  Publish exciting content and maintain our internal online channel for key audiences
·  Develop interesting stories for our internal communication
·  Becoming an expert in internal publishing systems

You are highly motivated, interested in a purpose-, people-driven and multinational environment You are an enthusiastic and dedicated Bachelor or Master student who is either:

·  Currently enrolled in the area of Communications/ Media /Digital Media or similar with a good knowledge in story-telling and a keen interest in science, or;
·  Currently enrolled in the area of science, with a good knowledge in story-telling and a passion for science communication.

Moreover, you are/have:

·  Interested in expanding your experience and in being exposed to both research and early development as well as corporate communications in a world leading pharmaceutical company
·  a keen interest in science
·  Sense of responsibility and teamwork with excellent organizational skills
·  Self-driven and creative with a passion to share new ideas to promote pRED's science story
·  Experience with content management systems and/or design software is an advantage, but not required
·  Proficiency in spoken and written English is a requirement, additional knowledge in German is an asset
·  Previous communication experience (e.g. internships, university papers etc.) is a plus
