Intern in Clinical Science
The Position
This position is offered in the Clinical Science team within the Medical and Scientific Affairs department. The Clinical Science Team explores unmet medical needs and designs clinical development strategies and studies for diagnostic solutions and personalized healthcare. In your role you support the Global Medical Leader and Clinical Science Leaders to develop innovative diagnostic solutions in a broad range of indications.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the team with medical/scientific expertise to develop novel diagnostics solutions including digital tools
·
Perform literature searches, extract and summarize medical information from guidelines interpret and analyze publications, summarize findings in reports and transfer into digital solutions
·
Writing a wide range of medical and scientific documents
·
Collaborate with other functions as well as external experts on development programs
·
Support the team with the generation of target product profiles, and translation into analytical and clinical product requirements
Who you are:
·
You are currently enrolled as a Medical student or PhD student in a health related scientific field (e.g. health science, pharmacology) or have recently graduated in one of the fields above (within the last 12 months)
·
You have a strong medical or medical-scientific background in internal medicine related fields, such as endocrinology, cardiology or oncology
·
You are interested to transfer your scientific and/or medical knowledge and your curiosity into the development of clinical diagnostic solutions
·
You have excellent communication and strong scientific writing skills
·
You are a team player, ideally with project management skills
·
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Start date: March-April 2021
Workload : 80-100%
Duration: 12 months
