The internship will be hosted by Business Development within the Centralised and Point-of-Care Solutions (CPS) Business Area with headquarter in Rotkreuz. CPS provides products and solutions that support healthcare professionals in clinical decision making in a wide field of medical indications including cardiovascular, hematology, infectious diseases, metabolism, oncology and women's health. CPS Business Development is mandated to secure timely access to external innovation for CPS through partnering, licensing and acquisition. We also drive and participate in other key strategic initiatives to support delivery of the CPS strategy and commitment to improving people's lives with superior in vitro diagnostic solutions.

As an intern in CPS Business Development, you will lead an exploratory External Growth Area project looking into new fields or customer segments for CPS. Besides managing the project, the intern is expected to support coordination with internal and external stakeholders, collect and analyze data to extract valuable insights and driving a decision regarding CPS interest in the researched External Growth Area/strategic customer segment.



Your key responsibilities will include:

·  Full accountability for driving the project towards the final deliverable
·  Designing the most appropriate approach to conduct the research
·  Propagating interest and winning support from internal stakeholders in the project topic
·  Formulating and presenting a clear recommendation supported by sound analysis and convincing arguments to drive a final decision (by Sr management) regarding CPS interest in the project topic

Ideally, you fulfill the following criteria:

·  Currently enrolled as a student or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months) with a Master's degree in the field of psychology, behavioral-neuroscience or related areas of medicine.
·  Experience in leading projects and a strong interest in making a difference in improving healthcare
·  Strong analytical and communication skills coupled with a willingness to embrace teamwork and thrive in a multicultural and international environment
·  A thirst for learning, ability to deal with ambiguity and proactive attitude towards problem-solving
·  Written and spoken proficiency in English, German is preferable ​
