Job description

  Job facts

To develop a world-class CMC organization recognized for high quality science, innovative approaches, and ability to rapidly respond to changes in clinical development. To expeditiously develop and deliver phase appropriate formulations, chemical synthesis, process characterizations and controls to enable a robust dynamic and diverse pipeline using innovation high quality science, technologies and partnerships.

Project 1:

This research program is to apply process analytical tools (PAT) to study reaction kinetics and understand reaction mechanism. Target intern is graduate student major in Chemistry with a spectroscopy background. Experiences with reactIR, reactRaman are preferred, but not required. Selected candidate would first learn how to use PAT tools. Next , experiments would be conducted on synthetic reactions using both reactIR and reactRaman. The intern would then spend some time performing PCR and PLS in the instrument software, building calibration curves and conducting multivariate model to determine the quantitative results and reaction kinetics of the reaction.

Project 2:
Chromatography - Perform/operate/carry out a series of experiments using HPLC-MS
ESI-Mass spectrometry - manipulate electrospray ionization techniques to study PEG molecules
Mechanistic Understanding of Chemistry - using chemistry concepts, study mechanism of experiments at hand.

Project 3:
This research program is to apply process analytical tools (PAT) to study reaction kinetics and understand reaction mechanism.Target intern is graduate student major in Chemistry with a spectroscopy background.
