The Location
Based in the state of the art Burgess Hill site (15 minutes by train from Brighton).

The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate/undergraduate in Information Technology, looking for their first career step, to join Roche Diagnostics and be part of the IT group supporting our UK and Ireland diagnostics business operations.

Roche Diagnostics utilises the most relevant IT applications in today's business environment (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft and Google). During your internship you will gain valuable knowledge and experience, contributing to key activities in the areas of IT Operations, project management and support.

We are looking for a flexible, hardworking and motivated individual with an inquiring mind and a proactive approach. Being part of a team who are looking at the next thing in IT, you will contribute to discussions exploring both practical and theoretical solutions to ideas and be excited to take them to the next step of the development process.

Our UK Diagnostics business, headquartered in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, employs approximately 560 highly skilled individuals. We provide the industry's broadest range of diagnostics and monitoring products & services, spanning all sectors of the market: from small hand held devices used directly by patients or healthcare professionals, to large diagnostic instruments found in hospital laboratories.

Desired profile

Who you are

You will have excellent IT skills, a strong passion for technology and an aptitude for realising goals. Studying toward an IT (or Computing for Business) related degree, you will be an excellent communicator, equally capable of working independently or collaborating within a team. You will also have the ability to develop effective relationships and reach consensus across a wide range of colleagues and external partners.
