Job description

Key Responsibilities

·  Monthly preparation and consolidation of local sales/channel replenishment/PAP supply/3rd party clinical trial stock requirements/bridging stock planning with commercial teams, to ensure continuity of supply and to avoid excess inventory.
·  Drive the commercial teams to provide quality market intelligence, validating forecast assumptions.
·  Develop demand scenarios to close financial forecast gaps.
·  Responsible for the sales value and volume forecast alignment through local S&OP platform.
·  Ensure 36mth consensus forecast and input into Planning system to support demand planning with the global planning organization.
·  Monthly performance reporting
·  KPI Owner of sales forecast accuracy and forecast tracking signal
·  Cooperate with China launch excellence (Lex) team for forecasting in different phases (T-36, T-24 and T-12)
·  Run China S&OP process

Function/tasks

·  Knowledge of the competitive landscape, regulatory requirement, indications, product characteristics/lifecycle and strategies of the managed portfolios.
·  Creation, development and monthly processing of reports and information as a basis for discussion of the product performance.
·  Implementation of the monthly Forecast (in-market and ex-factory) with commercial, where the information about the historical and future developments of the products will be discussed.
·  Achieving a consensus on the customized sales planning between forecaster and commercial. Any escalation of the discussion on BU level.
·  Provide demand planning (incl. PAP program, 3rd party clinical studies) in the system and coordination of relevant planning changes with the global organization.
·  Close coordination with the commercial teams to support Replenishment Coordinator to mitigate product write-offs or supply shortage
·  Early discussion of different sales scenarios with demand planner, to improve the basis for planning for the global production planning.
·  Participate in strategic sales planning in the context of the financial planning cycle.
·  Agree service level (forecast accuracy measurement) with demand planner
·  Carry out regular evaluations, as well as ad-hoc analysis
·  Participation and management of local projects, as well as participation in global projects.
·  Initiate Bridging stock requirement plan to Demand Planner.
·  Participate in Launch forecast assumption, scenarios with commercial and Launch Excellence Team
·  Monthly running of China S&OP process including pre-S&OP, S&OP meetings

Qualifications (education/experience/knowledge/skills/competencies)

·  Degree in Business/Finance/Supply Chain Logistics discipline or equivalent
·  Good understanding of technical and commercial aspect in the pharmaceutical industry
·  Strong finance / analytical skills, knowledge in data management and handling of reporting tools
·  Experience in forecasting using analytical tools
·  High level of self-drive, initiative, result orientation and assertiveness
·  Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
·  High degree of independence
·  Experience in leading groups and projects
·  Fluent in English spoken and written. Fluent Mandarin spoken and written will be an added advantage.
