As Financial Compliance Analyst you will be based in San José, Costa Rica. You will be working at the RSS Americas, which is one of the Roche Shared Services Centers worldwide providing Finance, Procurement services to various countries in the Americas region.
In this role you will be reporting to Financial Compliance Manager.
You will be responsible to ensure the ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting) /Segregation of Duties standard controls requirements in regards of control documentation are met to the full extent and aligned with Global Business Process Manager /Os within the compliance tool such as BWISE.
Your main task will include:
ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting) Scope:
•Ensure the ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting) /SoD standard controls requirements in regards of control documentation are met to the full extent and aligned with GBPM/Os within the compliance tool such as BWISE.
•Keep timely communication in regards of relevant control changes with the GBPM/O and the Senior Financial Compliance Specialist and line Manager.
•Ensure completeness and maintenance of Control Task List for the supported ICFR4all affiliates by the compliance team.
•Support CSA (Controls Self-Assessment) yearly process by ensuring appropriate ownership is included in BWise, communicating with the local ICFR key contacts about the questionnaire completion requirements.
SOD (Segregation of duties) and Access Management Scope:
•Annual review and extension of User Mitigations in GRC - define which User Mitigations have to be extended or terminated.
•Preventive SOD checks service for the affiliates and RSS Operations Americas.
•SoD Controls Updates Annual in Bwise (Controls Management tool) or as required by considerations with the GBPM/Os.
•Monthly SOD Dashboard revision and follow up on actions according to Controls requirements.
•Support Access Management for SAP, mitigating the risk of access conflicts.
SAP Authorization 1st Level Support
·Provide Level 1 Support to technical issue resolution in regards of access management.
•Be a key partner to the affiliates and RSS in development of action plans for control execution and design issues.
•Support internal and external audits visits, including sample compilation, logistics, etc.
•Support the creation and maintenance of desktop procedures for internal compliance processes.
•Escalates issues and recommend resolution plans in a timely manner to the Senior Financial Compliance Specialist, line Manager and affiliate /CCA when necessary.
•Support issue resolution and controls inquiries from the affiliate and RSS Operations Americas.
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices GAAP or IAS and auditing.
•Experience in Computing Microsoft Packages, especially advance excel level.
•Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments.
•Deep SAP knowledge is a must.
•Proven analytical and reporting skills.
•Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, influence and lead both with and without authority; fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish. French and Portuguese are a plus.
•3+ years of related accounting, financial or compliance experience.
•Audit and internal controls background preferred
•Strong team building skills, motivating others, conflict resolution, professionalism, confidence, being proactive, self-motivated, and the ability to make decisions
•Ability to foster and sustain strong interpersonal relationships with internal customers, strong team player.
•Good organizational skills to be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong prioritization skills.
